90 Days to DMARC Toolkit

On October 16, 2017 the Assistant Secretary for Cybersecurity and Communication for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced the enactment of Binding Operational Directive (BOD) 18-01 requiring all federal civilian agencies to implement the DMARC protocol across all federal email domains within 90 days.

GCA applauds this federal initiative and the ambitious schedule set forth. GCA followed the federal government’s initiative with a 90-day challenge for all organizations and developed a plan including resources to assist. We have created this toolkit for those who were unable to join the challenge.

Using DMARC, businesses are able to reduce the likelihood that their domain will be used in an attack, and they’ll be protected against incoming threats from other compromised domains.
